Just purchased a 01 Chevy 3500HD 2wd Duallie dump, I was told no push plates were available for this model??
Any info out there as to why?

GM made the "classic" body style in 2001 on the C3500 HD in 2WD as you can see from his post stevejfromri has one, he needs Fisher part # 7144. Fisher's literature probably states the part is up to model year 2000 but it's 2001, I set one of these up last year. Has the 2B light harness also as I recall.chevyzrule810;1338876 said:They stopped making the classic in 2000.Fisher makes a pushplates for it #7169 or #7161. These fit the 2001-2010. 2011 is pushplate #7192

Yep your right I have the dual headlights on my truck and the MM1 has the single lights os I need an adapter kit. Dealer says it is $270. What is the best route at getting this done. Should I just buy a new light kit or what? It has the 4 port module on it. Trying to find the part number for the harness. Could I just buy a new light harness instead of the adapter kit? My other question would be if I decide to update the plow in a couple years is there a better kit to put on it so I don;t have to upgrade then again.buddymanzpop;1341264 said:The 7161 push plates fit up to 02 models and they were then replaced with the 7169 due to the fact that the 03 up models had the front bumpers protrude a couple inches more out from the truck which caused the head gear to possibly come in contact with the bumper, so the 7169 puts the whole plow assembly out forward a little further than the 7161 so from 2000 to 2002 the 7161 or the 7169 will work 03 to 10 should have 7169.
Vogeltool check your headlight harnesses that came off the 2wd 3500 as those trucks were made with the square 2B headlights and most likely aren't compatible with your truck either.
Don't worry about the single lights on the plow, get the part numbers off of the Fisher headlamp harnesses that you bought used there should be two of them that are very similar, one is shorter than the other, get back with both harnesses part numbers before you go any further so we know what we're dealing with. While your at it get the isolation module part #'s and/or color of the label (white, yellow or green).vogeltool;1343029 said:Yep your right I have the dual headlights on my truck and the MM1 has the single lights os I need an adapter kit.
