If you a commercial contractor I would advise you by OEM or plan on buy 2 aftermarket units. There's plenty of people that sell OEM or aftermarket parts, just hit the Google to find one.

 

Not really wanting OEM. it will be used as a backup plow. I don't plow that much unless it snow on the weekends or really heavy during the week.

Any vendor on the first page is pretty solid when it come to dealing with,

 

Boss, snoway, monarch, hiniker, any of those use same motor, they can be had pretty cheap (around $129 for a decent aftermarket)

Yea , last week I replaced a Monarch electric over hydo unit motor, on a dump truck with a BOSS motor . It fits fine,just doesn't require the adapter like the BOSS power unit does. As posted above BOSS has been using the Monarch unit for a while .I've seen replacement motors on the net as low as $100, but I wouldn't want to trust one in the middle of the night in a big storm.

 

Picked up a motor on Amazon. Got it installed and works great.
