I have a 8'x blade which I welded 5" drop brackets on my a frame. I'm looking to sell the straight blade and get the 8.5 V. Does anyone know if there is enough adjustment to level the blade or will I have to custom make drop down brackets. Thank for any replies.

more than likely you need custom brackets. I went out and measured mine, GMC, and it is on the lowest setting and I could drop it about 3.5" if I had a taller truck. Hopefully that gives you an idea compared to a stock GM.
