Some people love him and some people hate him, but Shock Jock Howard Stern will be on Sirius in January, 2006.

That and the fact Sirius has the NFL are the only two differences between the two systems. XM will have ML Baseball this year.

I have an XM. I'm switching to Sirius.

Both have CRYSTAL CLEAR sound quality and amazing reception. Depends on your taste in programming.

XM has better comedy channels! Good for a laugh when the snow gets tough and you get tired.

I've had XM for a year now, and love it. The major selling point for me was the nascar channels, but the comedy channels rock too!! Gotta love the commercial free music. Best $9.95/mo I spend!

i've had sirius for about 1 1/2 years and I love it. However I do get some interruptions in service with my highlighter light bar going due to the fact that my antenna is right next to the light. Love Siruis, great DJ's.

I have had XM since august and I love it. The XM is less per month than sirius, and even tho its 499.00 liftetime that is only for that unit, if you replace it, you will have to pay again. Personally I hate DJ's, and is one of the main reasons I switched to sat. radio The less talk the better.
I also went with the roady unit, so I use it in my truck and also I use the power point on my jobsite radio to power the XM and listen all day on the job. At the time sirius didnt have a mobile unit, now they do. If you like Howard and the NFL go sirius, if you want Nasca and baseball look at XM, either way its better than commercial radio.

I had the 1st Sirius in town. The XM dealer here was an a$$, so I bought a Sirius from one of my suppliers. I love it. I always liked the Jensen display, being bigger than XM/Pioneer. The boss had a Sirius, which he gave to us, for the shop. He got an XM, because he's a big Bill Mack fan.

One of our drivers has both in his rig.

XM is way better! More stations, more members, way less song repeats, less money and it matches the boom box, dump truck or tahoe! Where it goe's i go. Plow on!

    Sirius is great so far.

Just put Sirius into my truck and love it. Have a friend with XM and he loves it as well. Just look at programming and see if the differences mean anything to you.

The inside word is that both companys are going to merge in the next 24 months! Buying some stock now could pay off big down the road!

I got both XM and SIRIUS for Xmas. I think XM might fit me better as I am not that big into the NFL sports. But I like the NASCAR. Still have a few days to decide before I have to return one. Will have to decide soon. Let you know what I decide on.

I have had XM for a while now. At least 2 years. They have over 3 million customers and S has just crossed 1 mil.

It's really all about programing though; they both are solid services you have to find what fits you best.
