cause every year it take a beating. i was home for the weekend so i just thru it my a trailer and drop it off the get repaired again. i leaving to go back to Iowa state for a few more weeks.

this is the 2nd repair to the cutting edge area. last year they cut out all the factory gussets and put heavier ones in. this time the bolt holes kind of egged out and the cutting edge pulled back towards the truck.

I'm thinking about having a angle iron welded between the edge and the backing plate

heres a link from last year : http://www.plowsite.com/showthread.php?t=85895 and http://www.plowsite.com/showthread.php?t=91837

Its too bad these "newer" plows from DD are going to be the down fall. I see and hear of more and more Blizzards, and Westerns but not a whole lot about the Fisher side of things as far as being bad or that bad goes.

Not to get into all that, but I think From the other posts.. and his other repairs 1olddogtwo had said he is not gentle on his plows in any way.. Or am I mistaken.. I couldn't be bothered to read all the post from before but that seems to be something I remember.
    I could be wrong.

I love the noticeable thunk as you plow into that and the little snow wad that falls down the windshield. Good thing you have a truck that can roll with the punches.

If I read it correctly, the angle iron was put there because the cutting edge bolt holes got egged out. Could be wrong but that's my answer.
