I keep ice melter in salt bins at many properties, for some reason the ice melter does not stay dry, there will actually be inches of water in the bottom of the box, I dont know if its condensation or what or if its moisture coming out of the ice melter, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

It is a problem but it is hard to stop. Salt is hygroscopic - it will pull water out of the air. So unless it is in a sealed container it will get wet.

One of the reasons calcium chloride works so well for dust control.
