When its time to get your stakes for the season, its easy to take a look at lower priced stakes and buy them. When the stakes arrive, you then realize that they have a rubber cap or even worse, no cap at all. It is imperative to get stakes with a durable cap so they last multiple seasons and protect your stake. Here are cap option breakdowns:

    Hard Plastic Cap -
durable, won't rust, won't scratch, withstands the elements extremely well, has a high quality look

    Plastic Cap -
breaks easily exposing the actual stake, looks like a lower quality, low season to season use

    Metal Cap -
durable, but rusts easily and can scratch equipment

    No Cap -
unless residential or in used in small quantities, these stakes are not recommended! Break easily, you will NOT get the best season to season use
