I bought a used plow and its for the same truck it has a female electrical connector , Idrilled a hole into fuse box and connected it to a un used fuse block rated for 20 amp it has a 10amp inline fuse and ground went to battery. Does this sound right everything works fine!

Plow motor is directly off the battery.

On/off switch for controller is tapped into a key on power wire under the dash.
