A buddy is trying to put together a plow truck. I only know Meyer pumps and wiring and have no experience with Western. He brought a pump over and wanted me to check it out. He has nothing but the pump so far. It is a solenoid (not cable operated) type. I have a Meyer test stand that I can put it on to check some operation but have no controls to run it. Is there a universal Western control for all of the pumps? I dont want to hook it up to my test angle cylinders because the ATF will mix with the Meyer fluid. Is there a way to put gauges on both angle ports to check the pressures and operation of the angle functions. Any input appreciated. Thanks.
