When I push the up button on my blizzard controller it sometimes only goes up an inch and then the on/off light starts blinking and wont go up anymore. It is not an every time occurrence but it is enough to be frustrating. Any suggestions to what may be causing this. It is an 8100PP Plow. Thanks.

You have a bad connection on your power supply plug. Just replaced my truck side. If I wiggled it I could hear the relay clicking.

The flashing indicates you have lost communication with the plow module. Verify the orange wire from the power switch on the plow to the middle plow module plug remains grounded with the switch in the on position.Tap the switch and fool with the plug connector, see if the light on the controller blinks, There is a booted plug kit for the two switches which keeps them corrosion free and addresses your symptoms.Verify clean tight contact with the power cable connection between vehicle and plow. if all seems fine have someone watch the light while you wiggle the power and control cables from the plow up to the firewall and see if you can cause failure. I just repaired a plow with your same problem, one of the twisted pair on the power cable had a small chaffe and turned green.it was on the vehicle side rubbing the radiator support.
