I have 2 Meyers snow plows and one of them is wearing about 6"-8"'s from the outer edges when is it necessary to get a new blade?

we change ours when they are about a inch to a inch 1/2 left in them i am a real big advocate on curb guards (curbrunner) to be exact they will make your cutting edge last longer

I replace mine when they're worn out! xysport

All kidding aside, I prefer to get as much as I can out of them, and as long as I'm not wearing on the moldboard, I run 'em.

Just make sure it does not get into the moldboard. You will be really sad that happened.
