Does anyone know if you need a power supply to run the Whelen Tir6's? Thanks

Well, yes you do, if by "run" you mean make them explode! LOL.

No you don't...just fuse 'em and switch 'em...they are bright as hell!

Thanks for the help. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need a remote power supply to change patterns.

I have another question about the TIR6's. They came with AMP connectors on the end. Could I remove the plastic connector and use standard red and black wire or do I need to order Whelen power cables?

I would cut them off and use weather pack connectors. Amps are not weather resistant as I"m sure you can already tell.

Do TIR6's usually come new with the AMP connectors on them? I thought they came like the TIR3's did with wires coming out of the back?
