what's wrong?

    I was out tonight cleanin up for the clients, when I noticed about half way through the 2nd driveway my ariens was shootin sparks out of the muffler. Engine sounded fine, ran fine. Not sure what's wrong with it. Anybody experience this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    possibly carbon coming out, or your spark arrestor is coming apart.

    check the gap on ur plug also

    Cumbustion is not finishing in the cylinder. Ignition timing late (small engines don't have distributors so not able to adjust. A/F to rich. Someone was to hapy with the mixture screw and or air filter is restricting air flow.

    New plug and air filter may help but will not hurt.
