I need to replace the seals on my rams. How can I measure to see what size I need. Does it go by the diameter of the cylinder or the actual ram. It is an older 7.5 Meyer e47

I be leave it is either a 1 1/2 x 10in or a 1 1/2 x 12in I think some ware on the meyer website they show you how to check size of them with a tape measure. I think you measure the Size of the yellow part from weld to weld, start from where it gets thicker after the truckside bolt mount and then end where it steps up in size. And I think that should be either 10in or 12in. I hope I didn't confuse you.
