i have a snowex 575 spreader and I bought an aftermarket vibrator and installed it using the factory snowex harness so I can use the buttons on the spreader controller. The vibrator came with a 6a in-line fuse and when I tested it empty it worked fine. Tonight I went to pre salt a lot before the snow and when I had the spreader running I hit the vibrator button and it came on for a split second. After I got home I discovered the in-line fuse was blown. I replaced it with a 25a fuse. I thought the 6a fuse was way to small. What do you think?
