:help: I have a 1992 F-250 4x4 5.8 liter engine. It was running fine, then the next thing it went south, first my fuel gauge stopped working, amp guage & RPM guage went all at once, This truck is a automatic. It now all of the sudden bucks & humps in D, runs fine in 2nd gear. Does anyone have any Ideals, I have been told to check all of my grounds, I did that, found nothing.... Thanks....................

FoxFire, Did you find out what the problem with your
truck was? Sorry I said check for a loose plug wire with-
out explaining that it sounded like something that
happened to me twice. The first time was in my old 86
chevy--engine bucking real hard. The second time I was
driving a friends ranger back from Rhode Island and
about an hour before I got home the gages started
going nutts and the engine was bucking in high gear
so I had to drive in second gear in the breakdown
lane the whole way home(not thinking it could be a plug
wire)---going up hills was the worst. What you decribed
sounded kind of the same. I'm not sure what your
engine is like but if its the older style plugs and wires
(unlike the new fords) sounds like a plug might not be
    firing. GOOD LUCK.

    RE-what happened

Thanks, I solved the problem. A body ground came off, thus blew a fuse. I will keep a eye on this ground, ford is known for grounds, grounds & more grounds... Thanks.........
