I currently have a 2008 F-350 with a Western MVP Plus plow installed in September of 2011. I believe the mount i have is a Western 31269. I see on the quickmatch that a 2012 F-350 requires a 31269-1 mount.

    My questions:
    1. Will my current 31269 mount bolt right up to my 2012?
    2. If not, can modifications be made to the mount relatively simple?
    3. What are the differences between the part numbers?

if your 2012 is gas it should work fine. If you have diesel you should use the newer version, but I think it is possible to modify the older one. It involves cutting down the 'webbed' area on each side of the mount between the two flat parts that glove the truck frame.
