According to Western, they are going to phase out the 6 1/2 and 7 foot standard duty plows. The replacement will be the midweight... The sport utility and light duty line will remain.

If you have a Toyota or a Jeep or other mini truck that can handle the weight AND YOU DRIVE THEM SENSIBLY, they are the beefiest on the market. Have had 6 1/2 foot Western standards on Toyotas since 1990 trucks and they are the best. Narrow enough to get in anywhere, tall moldboard, beefy frame and Unimount parts interchangeability and great parts availability.

I absolutely love them on Tacomas. You WILL need ballast in the back and springs or Timbrens for the front. I'd watch the weight on V6 automatic trucks and NEVER put them on a double cab mini truck of any maker...

Yeah, too bad Jeep doesn't make a Rubicon you can put them on... (with a touch of Toyota reliability... :)

Wouldn't you love front and rear lockers and 4 to 1 low and a six speed!!!
