i have a 92 full size blazer trying to think of ways to reduce weight of my setup. i want a back drage edge since i do a few driveways and it would be way easier. i saw the western style edge whare it bolts to the back of the cutting edge, my cutting edge has plenty of life left and should get me by this season, dose that back drag edge need to be installed with a new cutting edge or can it be bolted on? also dose anyone have any expericence with this back drag edge

I would guess it needs a new edge, otherwise when plow is dropped it would probably be resting on the backdrag edge, and main worn edge probably not even touching.. Installed in pairs they would wear together, evenly.
