sounds like your low on fluid or air.
when was last time you changed fluids?
and what kind did you put in?
    all this matters.

BK.............The fill plug is on the top of the case. It is a
small pipe plug. It should be on the right side top of case.

Lower plow frame on top of a block etc. Make sure ram is
all the way down. Take out fill plug ... move blade back and
forth stop to stop by hand..........Air bubbles (if any) should
gurgle out of fill hole. Keep refilling with fluid as necessary.

Put plug back in and give it a shot.....

    This should do it.........

BTW: The motor works right ? It may be just a cable adjustment
also. Try the bleed 1st. Let us know............geo

Do yourself a favor and have the unit serviced and ask the service person to review maintenance procedures with you. Nothing is worse than mechanical problems in the cold snow.
Then get the unit serviced every fall, way before the snow hits. If you are very mechanical, you can order a service manual from the manufacturer. The upfront money is much less expensive that a problem out in the field.
