Western old cable style plow barely lowers

    It lifts up great, but barely lowers. I have adjusted the handle on the controller but does help. Does the cable need changed? Something else?

    there is an adjustment at the pump end of the cable too.

    you need to adjust your lift valve. instructions are on the western site in the cable lift (conventional) instruction manual, way too much to type.

    Thanks I will check those out. I have adjusted drop speed on my unimount snow plows before but not the old cable plow.
