I have a Meyer with an E60 pump and the touchpad, but I hate the touchpad and want to use a Western joystick. I know it can be done as I looked at a truck a while ago that had this setup. Anybody know what needs to be done?

I'm not familiar with the Western switch. Does it have a benefit over a Meyer SlikStik?

Yes, I've used it for a long time... I don't really know, but I know that I like them a lot and I've seen it done. What does the slick stick look like? Anybody have a pic?

Oh yeah, I've actually had one of those before. The Western joystick is still my preference and I have a few laying around, that's why I'm so interested.

go to the western website. it will tell you what wire is for what. then go to the meyer website, and find what wire is for what. then match them up. or you can hook up 1 wire at a time, till you find the power andground till it lites up. after you find the power and ground, hook up 1 wire at a time till you find wich wire is the correct 1 for the button you press, i did this with my slick stick till it went up down left right. hope maybe this helps. if the western cotroller has 6 wires like the meyer than i know it will work. ps do you have the old toch pad with the flush buttons, or the new meyer touch pad with the raised buttons. the new touch pad with the raised buttons, are a lot better i think.
