can someone explain to me what a western conventional mount is?
    what does cable operated mean?
i'm assuming its quite old, looks like they were discontinued around '90? do the lights/mount stay on your truck permanently?

a local dealer is selling one that he is currently refurbishing.
thought i'd ask just to see.

A conventional mount has the lights, pump, lift arm, spreader bar permanatly afixed to the truck.
