Does anyone know of a way to "cobjob" the control cables for the older western style pump? I really don't want to spend a ton of money for the control cables and joystick, seeing as i bought the plow frame, pump and plow blade for $15. Any help would be great.

if you got that for $15 consider yourself lucky and get the correct parts, you will still be ahead of the game considering the joystick and cables are about $200

Look on ebay and you could probably get a new set for under $150 purplebou

I just scored a joystick and cables used on ebay for $75 or so. Just do it that way, you'll be glad you did.
