Anyone have a wiring diagram for an 11 pin harness? I'm trying to figure out how to wire up my unimount plow to some 1st gen Nighthawk lights that were given to me. I can't seem to find the correct diagram I need on Western's site. Thanks

11 pin on a uni mount? Unimounts were 9 pin or 12 pin...

Was it converted to run an isolation module or is it still a relay truck?

The new lights are 11 pin. It's still relay.

If your just using the new lights, then you dont need the 11 pin harness that came with them

Exactly, cut the 9 or 12 pin harness from your old unimount headlights and hook that to the new nighthawks.

When you open up the back of the nighthawks, the wires are all black, but are labeled with what they go to.

This is how you will land your connections:

9 or 12 pin harness - nighthawk wires
    Black Wire - Low Beam
    White Wire - High Beam
    Grey Wire - Left Turn
    Purple Wire - Right Turn
    Brown Wire - Markers

I'm pretty sure he already knew that - but didn't know the color code on the 11 pin harness that he'd be cutting up to adapt it to the existing 9 pin harness harness. Hence his post.

Yeah, BUT... he is asking for the wrong wiring diagram then.

I have never seen a set of nighthawks that has colored wires. Every set that I have wired back to a 9 pin or a 12pin harness, they are all black wires with the function stamped on them in white.

So he more needs the color code for his 9 or 12 pin harness to connect with the all black wires in the back of the nighthawks... hences my post...

Inside the back of a nighthawk... no colored wires.

Oh... and I should add that the Black with an orange tracer goes to ground.

I'll be damned. I never looked that closely at the harness cuz I never did one of those conversions. Whoops on me.

What is it that you and I talk about... this type stuff keeps us on our toes. Thumbs Up

(I went to my trusty old dirty "plow bible" for the wire diagrams that I drew back when I swapped my first set of nighthawks on to a relay plow:laugh:)
