hi all. Names Mike and Im from Amherst, NY (direct suburb of Buffalo). I have done a little bit of plowing in the past (the parking lots at the auto parts store that I work at and the bosses driveways). I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler, currently with no plow, but I'm thinking about getting one. Not looking to spend a fortune, so I came across a used 7' Western UniMount on craigslist. the add states it came off a 1990 Toyota truck. can I make this fit on my Jeep? it looks like its older, but in reasonable shape. the guy wants $800, i was hoping to talk him down.

My main concern is the front of my jeep sagging, and this plow being too wide for it. any recommendations and advice would be much appreciated!

Looking forward to browsing and posting on the forums!

Blizzard makes a nice plow for the jeeps. Check out their website and give a call to Bison Turf. 876-2000. You may be able to get something new for a decent price. I always hate buying used equipment, You never know what you're going to get.

Welcome

Yeah, I agree that buying used plow equipment is a little risky. Make sure you checkit out really well before you hand over the cash. You could probably get a frame to fit the Jeep for that plow if you look around.

Good Luck.
