    Other than:

    The National Weather Service
    The Weather Channel
    Intellicast (Great Winter Radar Mode)

Are there any other good weather web sites out there, worth looking at?

This one has all of the winter storm warnings & watches.

I'm not sure if the next one is NWS but it may be http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/html/fcst2.html

I've posted this one before, if its an east coast storm this one provides good & usually pretty accurate info (he doesn't really do lake effect though). He also posts at this site only when winter weather is on the horizon or imminent.

I'm not sure if the site Iowa has mentioned with the medium & long range forecasts is NWS but that's a good one too.
