i have a 10 year old 2590 mounted on a 2004 dodge ram 1500 that i have owned since new and moved from truck to truck. we had our first storm 2 days ago and i had a few problems. due to the icoinc conditions i had to use the DP. When plowing with the down pressure the voltage gauge swung from normal to off scale low and the check gaiges ligth wold come on. if i dont use the DP there is no problem. i took the truck to the shop to have the charging and system and batterey looked at and all was in order. so my question is what on the plow side will draw the system down?
