I know this is a general question but I was just wondering how much weight (salt only) was in the back of my dump when full loaded. I have an 8' SS Buyers Vbox which the specifications say it holds 2.1 cu/yds - struck capacity. Anyone know how much salt that is in lbs? I understand the weight of salt ranges but in general what would your guess be? Thanks Guys.

4000-4500lbs. would be my guess. We used to send our truck in to pick up from a local supplier and that is what it would weight. Now this might be a little wet as they always scrape the ground clean and put it back in the bin.
