I have an old off road Dodge W 250 CTD Club Cab that I plow my own large commercial lot with. One area is 300 x200 another area is 400 x 200 and another odd shaped lot about an acre plus parking areas and lane ways. I am debating on adding a box plow (Avalanche) or a V- plow, and I'm looking for suggestions from those of you who use them. FWIW I have an 8' Meyer Polly on it now.

My opinion, only because I have one and LOVE it, would be to go with the V-plow. It is very versatile. The box blade would be a little more limiting on what you could do with it. However, you're only using it for your own personal lots so justifiying the cost a V-plow would be a little tough.

Oh what the hell, go with the V-plow, you won't regret it.

I'd put a box and a backhoe in there.
