I have a question regarding my 10' high capacity v box spreader with a serial number 6698. I have part numbers 65189 idler sprocket, idler shaft 68434 and rod end 65188. the sprocket has a 1" id with a bushing inside and the shaft is 1 1/8" and they do not fit together. can we remove the bushing and install the sprocket on to the idler shaft so it will fit? if we cut the idler shaft down to the 1" to make the sprocket fit with the bushing this will cause the rod ends to be oversized a minimum of a 1/16" of an inch. the rod ends are 1/16" undersize to fit on the idler shaft without removing any thing. can we remove the powder coating to make them fit on the shaft?
