I got to try the urethane spinner on our spreader these past few days. The old steel spinner was in bad shape so it's hard to say how the urethane would compare to a new steel one. The urethane is showing me a much more uniform spread pattern and a LOT more range on the material throw. This is an 18", six flute spinner with the "angled" blade design. I don't know if it is just more efficient with the blades all the same or if it is just more "slippery" not being all crusted up with material/rust, but it definately woirks better than the old steel one did.
