I have an older 8 foot Diamond plow setup that came on my ’86 Ford F250. The truck finally died and I am in the process of moving the plow to a ’91 F250. The plow is in great shape (only was used to do my home driveway) but in looking at the under the hood, belt driven plow pump and cable controls, I was wondering do I have any options to upgrade? I have seen some 12v electric pumps and controls and was curious if something like that could be retrofitted to work with my plow?

u just need a solenoid operated control valve. stick with the under hood setup if you like reliability.
