If i were installing a strobe system the red wire on the supply would tie right into my Aux wire that has been capped off from factory? Where would the black go? i know white is ground.

What brand supply are you using? Model? I know for Whelen, the white isn't ground....

i was going to say the red is power, black is ground these must be connected to a battery or alternate source of power. for whelen on that same plug there is violet for hi/lo mode. unless youre talking about the actual strobe head then it red/black/white and they hvae to be plugged in a specific order.
Im assuming youre using whelen 60 or 90w supply and are reffering to the power connector for the supply?

are you talking about the ford switches

what brand and model power supply if it is a whelen with the main power leads and the low current switching i would hook the main power to batter and Switching to the upfitter switches

even with the upfitters the main power has to go to the battery then the swithc/unit power on/off goes from the upfitter to the supply i believe its yellow/blue/green wires
