Our 1980 Chev De-Ice truck is getting replaced this year with an F-450 power stroke. Will get some more pics as the project progresses. We will be putting a 9-2 Boss Vxt plow on this truck. Should work well.

What kind of set-up do you have on your old truck. I was thinking about doing that. Liguid and bulk salt.

We can do bulk salt and mag-chloride at the same time. Works great when there is a good deal of ice build-up or snow pack. Most of the time we just use the mag-chloride.

I personally would've brought the green on the ford up to the next "crease" in the body....just me though

Looks great either way! Is it 4x4?

2X4. Our old truck was a 2wd and did just fine in any storm that we have had. I think with the amount of weight on the back this will be sufficient for our salt/ mag truck.

I sitll may bring the green up to the crease(thought that would be too much at first). It would only take about a half hour to tape it off and spray some more.

Thats a real nice paint scheme you have going on there. I think its really cool when guys do stuff like that to their fleet. Kind of like Arbor-Medic. My idea of a coordinating fleet is buying all red trucks.. Besides that black one that I decided to buy. But yanno how that goes sometimes. Nice looking truck.
