Looking for advice. Got a property with uneven sidewalks that after we salt and the ice melts, It puddles between the uneven sections. Then it gets cold and freezes again before it's able to dry off. With the ground frozen it doesn't run off at all. How do you treat a puddle to keep it from icing up again before it gets warm/sunny/windy enough to dry out?

    Or keep putting material down
    Or squeegee

We have a property with the same issues, sections have settled a bit and they pitch toward the lawn area and are below grade. We ice melt the areas, then use a blower and a pusher shovel to get the water off and re apply mag/ salt to dry it out. One section we actually made a small drainage trench, pain in the butt.
