    I didnt get it that bad, but last night we got down to -5 a pipe in my ceiling went out .I knew something was up when it sounded like there was a shower in the living room.The ceiling is in pretty bad shape about a 5 foot square area will need to be fixed but nothing else got ruined.:dizzy:

    happened in our Pocono House...heater went out for a few days and the copper pipes leading in to the back of the washer broke. Luckily the water was turned off, so the only water that came out was the few gallons left in the pipes.

    People I know went to Florida for a month. They kept their house heated while they were gone but ran out of oil. The pipes froze and then broke. One day, a guy went to the front door to deliver something and noticed that the steps were all ice. There was ice extending from the bottom of the windows to the ground. He looked around and found that their pipes broke and the whole house had filled up with water up to the windows. The damage was huge.
