Any good comparisons on what works better, the trip edge or regular full trip plow. From what I can see, the full trip is a bit higher for the trip angle and may help when hitting something taller.

I like the bottom trip. When it does trip, it doesn't dump your full load. The northeast get a wetter snow and can sometimes cause full trip plows to trip without hitting anything. If you do it something tall with a bottom trip, you better hold on cause your about to rattle some fillings loose. If you do go bottom trip, I'd strongly recomend that you consider a Diamond. They are built like tanks, have a better radius and overhang, and a better warranty than Fisher.
