Interesting video Paul... Does the (Canadian) tri-axle (Tandem in WI) push better than a wheel loader?
Do you run the tri in all snows or only to move large windrows?

Didn't you have that mounted on a single axle last year?

1 steering and 2 drives = 3 so a lift axle makes it a quad axle than :mechanic:

OK ok, I will call it a 10 wheeler, thats what we say in Quebec. The reason I said tri-axle is someone corrected me last year telling me thats what you call it. Last year it was on another 10 wheeler that got scraped under an over pass. It will push much faster than a loader, and we use it for every snowfall. If you want to see how it is mounted go to

A loader is automatic so when the pusher gets full it kicks down to first gear. The truck you can shift up and keep pushing. On long pushes the truck will be twice as fast if not faster.

I've thought about adding removable sides onto the 10' blade on my dump, apparently it would make a good push truck.

In IL we call it a tandem axle dump or a six wheeler!! We don't count the steer I guess A tri would be just the back and the same with a quad!!
