Plowing this weekend tranny temp was between 135-155 deg. No damage until over 200, maybe 210, I think.

Why would your trans overheat while plowing? theres most stress during summer months while towing and i dont hear people worrying about it

He has a 1500. How are you watching your trans temp? I don't believe the 1500's came with one. The temp on my 08 2500 hit 170 with heavy snow.

I'm watching mine with a factory gauge, and it was running 200-210 the whole time basically what the coolant was because I only have the trans cooler in the radiator.
