Tornado spreader trouble

    tonight the spreader decided to flick a bit of salt on its own without the truck even being started. I disconnected the battery, help please!

    You could have just unplugged the sander at the back. You must have a multiplexing problem. False signals are bieng sent or the reciever has gone rogue. There is no easy way to troubleshoot this yourself. When I work on such issues I troubleshoot by logical substitution of parts. I would start with running a new main cable from front to back because most tornado problems arrise from worn comm wires under the truck. If that didn't resolve things I would try a new decoder box in the rear. You need to take it to a Western dealer.
