What does do guys/gals use to plow top of parking garages? Do you use the plow trucks to push to a particular spot where the skid steer can dump off or is it wiser to put say 8FT pusher on skid steer and use it solely. Got a pretty decent size top of a garage looking at and trying to put time on it both ways for efficiency.

We've used both. If you are allowed to dump it over the side consider the skid steer alone. Make sure you have poly or rubber on the bottom of your bucket too.......very easy to screw up their membrane if you scrape with the steel. Would'nt hurt having a plow with the appropriate cutting edge (rubber or poly) as back up.

How many ramps to the different levels are involved? Depending on the design of the structure the snow will find it's way on those....be prepared to dealing with those also.

What are you using for chems?

Just don't put it all in one spot.

Thanks great pic at mail oops! It is a one level garage with good sun and a north side that we can dump snow off of with skid-steer. Plow trucks hopefully will be able to move snow to the north side so skid steer just throws it over. Plan on using peladow with spreader to hit the up ramp and top.

That would be fun to dump it over the side. Just imagine if your plow truck would be on that part of roof that caved in. Wouldn't be a good day.
