Tire Upgrade Question

    I have a F250 PSD,factory tires are 265-175-16 load rating (E).I would like to put bigger tires on, Anyone have any recommendation's,size,style,make.

    i have only 1 recomemdation www.tirerack.com, and look up your truck and tire size from there you will find post of how the buyers feel about that brand,
    i have yokohama geolanders on both my liberty and f150 and like them , they are a excelent wet or dry tire, read and make up your own mind its a very great site with very good prices. good luck :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    I can't help you out as I drive a Chevy. But I'd call your local tire dealers and see what they say. Maybe you've already done that but that's the best I can offer since I don't run Ford.

    how wide are the fact rims, 7 or 7.5"?

    i know on my 7.5rims i am runninga 12.5" tire without any issue.....so i would think you would be able to up grade to like a 33 or 31 size equilvalent in a 16" uness you need the higher rating then you are sol

    I Put 285 75 R16 On My 2000 Ford F350 No Problems Had 265 75 R16

    I just had 295 75 R17 installed on my 2005 F250 SD, Think I could have gone up to 315 75 R17.

    Tire Size

    I have 285/75/16 on my 99 superduty for the winter and I run 305/70/16 in the summer with out any issue. I've hear of guys putting 315/75/16 on there stock rims with no problems. I hop this helps.
