    Here is my situation.
Last year I bought a summer set of wheels and tires. I went with 17" wheels versus the stock 16". I was running 285 70's on the 17's. Since then I have started to do more heavier towing and would like to get into a D or E range tire. A "D" range would be perfectly fine for what I intend to do but I would not shy away from an E, which is what I have on now for the winter.
My question: I'd like to get in the size range of my 265 75 16's for my 17" wheels as far as height and width. What would be the equivilant size tire for a 17" wheel?

    I got this from 1010tires.com. Width wise, 265 is 265 weather it is a 16 or 17" tire. I compared your stock size to a 265/70 17.

    A 265/70R17 is the same size as a 265/75R16.
