I have a 2000 Chevy k2500 classic body style. I want to install timbrans in the front to help with the plow. My local parts store says you can get 1400#, 1800#, or 3600# rated timbrans. I am running a Blizzard 810 which weighs about 950#. Needed to know what people thought on what poundage to go with.
Thanks for your help. Keep in mind I drive my truck more with the plow off than on.

Hey found out that my local parts guy is an idiot. There are not differant load ratings for the same truck. Differant models have differant rated timbrens. :dizzy:

I have timbrens on the front and rear of my '04 Chevy 2500HD.

I have a Blizzard 810 and the timbrens work great. In the "off" season I pull a dump trailer with 14k gvw, again timbrens are great.
