Winter has met its match with the introduction of the new TGS 800 Tailgate Sand Spreader from THE BOSS Snowplow. Capable of spreading both sand and rock salt or other dry free-flowing, ice-melting materials, the TGS 800 Tailgate Sand Spreader gives THE BOSS a complete lineup of tailgate spreaders perfect for any job.

The TGS 800 Tailgate Sand Spreader features an 800-pound (8-cubic-foot) capacity and is engineered to handle sand as well as most types of deicing materials. And the new TGS 800 is easy to attach and comes with more standard features than any other spreader on the market.

“Our new TGS 800 Tailgate Sand Spreader provides operators with the versatility to adapt to any snow or ice situation while delivering the proven, time-saving features that have set the standard for ease-of-use and reliability in our industry,” said Rick Robitaille, THE BOSS Snowplow Marketing Manager.

    Standard Features:

    • Low-Profile Poly Hopper
    • Solid Poly Hopper Cover
    • Variable Speed Control With Blast Feature & Overload Protection
    • (2) Enclosed 12-Volt DC Electric High-Torque Motors
    • Adjustable Poly Material Deflector
    • Top Screen With Bag Splitter
    • 12" Poly Spinner
    • Swing-Away Spinner Assembly

The TGS 800 Sand Spreader features a unique Feed Paddle Mechanism powered by its own 12-volt DC high-torque motor, while the spinner is powered by a separate 12-volt DC high-torque electric motor.

Choose from either our RT3 Quick Hitch Attachment System, which easily rolls the spreader into place, or a Slide-in Mount. Both systems use the existing vehicle Class 4 trailer hitch receiver mount.

Since 1985 THE BOSS Snowplow has made snowplowing efficient and easy with innovative products that set new industry standards for quality, reliability, craftsmanship and performance. All BOSS Snowplows are designed, built and put to the ultimate performance test in Michigan’s rugged Upper Peninsula where winters — and deep snow — are a way of life.

THE BOSS snow-removal products and accessories are manufactured in an approved ISO 9001:2000 registered facility and are available to professionals and homeowners through the company’s nationwide network of distributors. You're not just saying that Noble so that I'll buy the snowex that I was talking to Jim about are you? :nono:

j/k Thanks for the info. I kinda figured at this point that its kinda late to be introducing a new product. Trouble is, they put out all the info to dealers, etc and then don't have the product ready. Not a good call. I was hoping it would be ready, as I would like to keep all my snow removal equipment thru one dealer (a local dealer who will provide service asap in a snowstorm) that I already have 3 boss V plows and a v-box sander from.

They were planning on having about 300 ready. Then they had some trouble with getting a few of the pieces. They thought it would be better to have more than just a couple out and not rush the whole product launch. I was equally disappointed when I found about this product not coming out this year. I saw the spreader at the NTEA show in chicago and looked pretty good. Oh well maybe next year.
