taking off resvoir tank

    just wondering if any one can tell me how difficult it is to take of the resvoir tank off a 99 ez-v plow unit.

    There are 4 bolts that hold the tank to the valve block, might have to tap the side of the tank once you get the bolts out to break the seal from the o-ring where the tank meets the valve block.

    You will also need to take the 2 mounting bolts (1/4") out to move the hydraulic unit to gain clearance to drop the resivoir.

    I wouldn't call the machine screws that hold the tank on bolts. They're 10-24 X 5/16.
    If they have never been out, they can be a PITA, either the head strips or they break off, have to be drilled and heli-coils installed. If you do get them out, put some anti-seize on the threads before installing.
