Tailgate spreader fix

    If you have had problems with your tailgate spreader in that backing into snowbanks forces the spinner up, causing the drive belt to mis-align, here's a simple fix I did to my Fisher 110. I drilled and tapped a 1/4 NC concentric hole in the bottom of the drive shaft and screwed in a 1/4x3/4 stainless bolt with a fender washer, this aligns the bottom of the shaft with the bearing collar, and doesn't allow the shaft to be forced upward by the spinner. Use lots of antiseize on all the treaded fasteners on the spreader it makes it a lot easier to service, for the next season.
