We recently had 8 Home Depot accounts with Brickman Fs.
when we were asked to perform work out of contract for the same money as are monthly base pay we were let go for stating we can not go out side the contract. now we are waiting to see what goes on with our money...
Just one guy in the dept that kept demanding more than the contract held so he had his way.. any one else have problems like this.. we have already handed contract over to a law firm. they stated that we can be released at any time buy all payments are not lost. as well for terminating from the contract the way they did it.. We have loss of income due to the nature of business...

We had several in Maryland.. belair, Aberdeen, cockysville, liberty rd, Baltimore on riestertown, Catonsville, Halethorpe, glen burnie...

During the last storm with the 5 degree weather, they wanted black top showing,, we have a contract for plowing with a truck.. machines are more money and that is what is needed to scrape the flash frozed snow up.. they said Home depot pulled in there secondaries to come in and take loaders to the ground and scrape. then Home depot replace all site except 1 with there secondaries... the 1/2 storm that just passed we received phone calls from 4 of the sites that we were taken off of. stating they were icy and needed service. we went out took pictures of the sight and sent them in to the management and then we received a phone call and email we were terminated from all work... even are BJS store.. none of our sites complained to brickman. we had ac corp. site in belair that always was calling and wanting more. but the regional manager for Brickman that drives around said it look great and as well as the other sites were fine. We actually have two Managers that signed a work performance for us and stated the sites were maintained.

Our contract doesn't state trucks or loaders. Just what is to be done and our price. They are basically zero tolerance contracts

You couldn't burn it off with salt?

Be glad you don't have to salt them the rest of the winter with shortage induced expensive salt. then you would really chew up the profits. The managers etc could care less about the salt prices. just come and do it. Its all free for them to call, you know its a ( seasonal price);).

Where are all the people saying how great it is to work for the national cubical farms for the last two weeks.

Not the previous sentence is not ending with a question mark but with a period.

Same thing. You follow their rules - no issues.

Guess what else? We got paid within two weeks for last storm.

Amazing how quick that cold snap separated the men from the boys. We have been providing equipment and operators to brick man for over 15 years and haven't had an issue yet.

Been busy the last couple weeks making money working for them.

Do the work, do the paperwork, take the checks to the bank.
