For those that use them, how many tons of bulk salt can you get in a twenty of forty foot box?

I have a 20 footer and put 17 tons into it last week and it didn't come close to filling it. I'd guess I could put another 17 or more in, especially if I put a sheet of plywood near the front to hold it back and just dumped over it.

Thank You, that's the kind of info I was looking for, had no idea what one would roughly hold.

use 2x12's or 2x8's instead of plywood. You can then take out a little at a time. Taking out a sheet of plywood is easy, the weight of the salt will do it.
